Tom Klein is an Investor, CEO, business strategist and turn around expert, corporate board member, advisor, and investor. He’s had significant success in growth and scale enterprise technology/software and digital consumer businesses. Expertise in leadership, technology, digital/online consumer business, software, data center operations, cyber-security, international business and expansion, government advocacy and public-private partnerships, private equity owned and operated and public company, mergers and acquisitions.

Tom advised and co-invested with TPG. Served as President, CEO and Board Member of Sabre (NASDAQ: SABR), the leading technology solutions provider to the global travel and tourism industry, incl–a pioneering digital brand, Sabre Airline and Hospitality Solutions a $1B+ SaaS businesses, and Sabre Travel Network a distribution giant that processed over $100B of travel annually. As CEO, he led a successful IPO with over $3 billion in annual revenue and 10,000 employees. Within two years of April 2014 IPO, Sabre had an enterprise value of $11B and delivered 83% total shareholder return its stock performance ranked in top 10% of IPOs in 2014-15. Sabre also brought 31 innovative solutions to market, a record pace of innovation and growth at Sabre. Sabre was one of the top performing take private deals of its vintage generating significant returns to PE sponsors TPG and Silverlake.

Tom has twice been recognized by Business Travel News as one of the “25 Most Influential Executives.” He currently serves on the boards of Certares Holdings and Playa Resorts and is the current Chairman of Nirvana Travel and Tourism Abu Dhabi.

He previously served on the boards of Certares Travel Ventures, Dubai Holdings and Brand USA (appointed by U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gary Locke) as well as the executive committee of the World Travel and Tourism Council, the Dean’s Board of the Villanova School of Business and the Advisory Board of Southern Methodist University School of Engineering.
